Toxik Death

Demo 2012
Self-released
2012

Norway is well known for its modern thrash scene.  And one thing is certain, there is no shortage of great bands that are spewing forth deadly riffs.  Which brings us to Toxik Death.  Their new demo shows they are stronger than ever and ready to kick in the teeth of posers!  Like a frothing mad serial killer, Thrashforces of Evil sets off this demo with mayhemic glee.  A loose and energetic solo slashes into some sawing thrash riffs that buzz with feral aggression.  A Germanic thrash assault is unleashed on Metal Possessed.  Insane vocals and razor sharp riffs spill across a hammering beat as the song hurtles headlong into oblivion.  The pace quickens and a reckless abandon overtakes the songstructure until its abrupt end.  A Venom-esque opening segment is mashed into a Sodom-ish chorus on Terrorsexslaughter.  A sloppy (in a good way) break down occurs before the track rips into a whirlwind of violent flourishes.  Primitive, ropey bass and demonic riffs annihilate the listener on D-Beat Destruktor.  This song in particular highlights the punky undercurrent of Toxik Death.  Raw and minimalist riffs bulldoze the listener.  A hint of melody permeates the opening riff on album closer, Highway Warrior.  Old school metal and thrash merge as the demented vokillz and savage riffs flay away your bloody flesh.  Undercurrents of Bathory bring the song to its bloody climax.  Toxik Death have returned with a destructive vengeance.  If you delight in uncontrolled and malicious thrash then you will be enraptured with their new demo.
