Norwegian Thrash just keeps growing and spreading like the bubonic plague.  The latest purveyor of dirty and raw thrash from this burgeoning scene is Toxik Death.  This 6 track album is brutish and no-nonsense thrash that takes strong delight in sawing at the listener's ears with rusty teeth.  Toxik Death sets the tempo for the release with fast as hell riffing that blisters all the flesh from the guitarist's fingers.  My favorite song though is Sergeant of the Wasteland with its frenzied thrash sections and more controlled main riff and catchy chorus.  Human Trash features frenzied fingerwork with slow motion vocals that make the song sound slower than it actually is.  It also features one of the few guitar solos of the whole release and is simple, straight-ahead and deadly.  Another great track from Toxik Death is You Will Fukking Die, where they open with a rabid distorted bass line and then exhibit a limited dose of American styled thrash rather than large quantities of Teutonic thrash that pervade most of the rest of the release.  Whereas Fukking Whore has a sort of crossover thrash feel to it, not unlike Slaughter.  Mikael Vomit's vocals are outrageous and over-the-top.  They come across as pure drunken mayhem, slurred and lethargic at times.  If you like your thrash filthy and raw, somewhat along the lines of early Kreator, though less catchy, then Toxik Death is right up your debris strewn alley.  This beer soaked crew are bucking the current trend of Bay Area worship so prominent these days.  Toxik Death is Ugly and venomous.  You certainly will FUKKING DIE!!!!
